This is what we did Saturday!

Cyndi and Jess are resting between rides and telling each other about their hill climbs. They can't talk without their hands! Are these two an advertisement for Fox or what?

We were a group of 10 and we had 3 trucks, 2 trailers, 7 bikes and 4 quads plus ALL THE GEAR. That's my bike behind Jesse's.

We had one casualty, other than broken clutch/brake levers, gear shifters, and whatever it was that was making Teddy's chain on his quad make all that noise - Jess broke his toe when he accidentally tried to fly like Superman. I believe he thinks he is going to ride again next weekend. HA!

Hot becuase it's sexy. Didn't know what it was as I was backing out of my parking spot. When I realized it was a Dodge Challenger, I had to get out and snap a few pictures. It's also hot because it was 200 fricking degrees outside.

I have a few around my house. Funny, becuase I can't handle the real sun. I melt, quickly. This one is a gift from my sister. It glows with a lit candle, or the sun, from behind.

Happy Birthday

Took TJ out for dinner to the Outback for his birthday. He bought the first round of margaritas, we bought dinner. Cyndi, who eats like a bird (sometimes) ordered a slab of ribs. Don't think she ate a quarter of them. She had a good lunch the next day though. The boys; Mike, Jesse and TJ ordered steak, of course. The next night these two went out for a real celebration and TJ is feeling some pain today.

Thats Chewy as in Chewbaca. He's not a 130 pound mutt, he's a Wookie. And he is the sweetest old moose ever. He has a thing going on with Peaches; they like to cuddle in the winter.

Forty year old bicycle tire patch kit. Hubby still uses this can, just refills it with new supplies. They don't make stuff like they used to.

She is a bit camera shy. She is the coolest cat ever. She is sweet and she loves me, loves to hang out on my lap, my clean folded clothes leaving lovely peach fur everywhere and 'talks' a lot but she gets a bit moody when I put my camera in her face.

Canon 30D with a Canon Zoom EF-S 17-55mm 1: 2.8 IS USM & Canon Speedlite 580EX II

I also have the kit lens that came with the 30D but its junk (still works though) and a Sigma 200 mm zoom lens for Canon that still works but is pretty worn out if anyone is interested in purchasing.

I list all these for a few reasons. I need a record of what I have, I forget what I have sometimes (mainly my lens mm's), and maybe it will keep me from buying more equipment. Na, photography equipment is like shoes and chocolate, you just can't have too much.

I wanted to take another photography class. Either another Black and White film (which was a blast and I learned so much) or another digital class or a badly needed Photoshop class but my schedule is just too full so I have decided I want to shoot at least one photo every day. I would also like to post one photo a day but unfortunately the schedule thing, again. In addition I'm dealing with computer issues. Specifically an over stuffed hard drive. It is so full at the moment that I can't even defrag. I'm posting this and my photo of the day - from yesterday - via my husbands laptop. I don't have my software on here (CS3) so I'll have to make do. Thankfully my camera is set to shoot in RAW and JPEG.
