Everyday I get a pile of these to process. I'm so grateful I have not had to file one in a long time.

Love all the glass on the building where I work. Partly cloudy skies are just what I wanted.

Them Cowobys - my son's best friend on the left, my son on the right. Total goof balls and so fun. Good boys that will graduate from High School this June. Hope they stay friends forever

7 am on Sunday. I opened my eyes to a glow through an opening in my bedroom curtains, jumped out of bed and ran outside with my camera before the color faded.

A Gaggle. Reminds me of the time my son was 12 and we saw a family of geese causing a traffic jam. When I called it a gaggle, he thought it was so funny that I had made up a new word.

Ah SPRING! This is a display at Sam's Club that reminded me why we need all the rain we are getting drenched with for the last week. I LOVE when I come across stuff like this.

A random sampling of all the crap on my fridge. That reminds me, it needs to be cleaned really bad.

I had taken a picture of the raindrops through my car windo ealy in the morning when it was storming. Had to capture the blue sky through my sunroof at lunch time.

This is what I like to do while riding in the car at night. This one was the smoothest (roads are rough in CA) and the simplest. Simple, organized, lines, etc. is what I gravitate toward in the crazy busy life.

Whats for dinner? I played with the exposure and lighting and still couldnt' get a good shot of the yummy, colorful dish. Probaby should have moved it off the stove for the shot

Me at about 18 months in Parnelli Jones 98 Jr. My mom and dad were flight instructors back in the late 50s, early 60s for several of the indy car drivers.

Mmmmm CAKE. Celeberated a birthday and for not being chocolate, this was a pretty good cake.

Okay, today a total of 4 photos taken. Three with my iPhone one with my Canon SD100. Super busy at work. Dark when I go there, dark when I leave there plus all the other things going on. Yeah, I know, NO EXCUSES.
I saw this book at the bookstore while Christmas shopping. I really don't need another photography book but then again, maybe I do. So, I ordered it from Amazon last week and just got it today. Now, to find time to read it.

There are acutally 5 dirt bikes here and my Quad behind me. We are collecting them it seems. Having so much fun riding I want to go every weekend.

On our way to go ride for the day. We haven't hardly seen the sun for weeks at home so I was thrilled and then we had to drive back down it in. I love the way the fog looks laying over the land the way it does.

Now the weekend is so busy! I captured a lot but then I get real picky when it comes time to post. This is my neighbors yard where my grandson likes walking on this path.

Not a good night creatively. Went out side in the cold capture left over christmas lights but wasn't happy with my results. So this is it for today.

Went to a funeral today.
This cemetery is old and has a lot of local history. It felt wrong to even want to take photographs but then everyone else was. They were capturing the ceremony and the people. I waited until after so I could capture the amazing stuff out there. I want to go back on a tour and bring my 30d.
Very cold and overcast. Fitting for an interment really.
RIP Bess and Tom

I was looking for this little light last night. So happy my grandson found it tonight because I wasn't sure what I was going to shoot. This here was so FUN! I will be doing more.

Spent over an hour trying to shoot various things. Even got out my tripod but I just wasn't feeling anything. Decided to take my camera out to the garage where the boys were working on Jess's dirtbike. Hey, you just never know. This is my favorite of what I captured out there.

New profile photo? I think I'll keep working on this until I get a smile out of myself.
Today being a Monday it was much harder to be creative. I had a feeling this might happen during the week. I will have to work harder to make the time.

Little Ms "Tyler Durden" is on the mend. Crazy cat.
Loving my new lens. Still working my PS editing skills or lack thereof.
The blanket she is on was made by my sister for me for Christmas.

Here it is; my first official photo of this project. Not very creative but it was hibernate-and-put-away-the-Christmas-decorations-day. This will be interesting to capture this tree in the creek behind our house through the seasons this year.
Editied in Photoshop to remove the spots from my filthy sensor.
