Spent a very nice day with friends on the Delta. Had a scrumptious brunch at the Ryde Hotel and then wandered around Isleton. Has a hard time picking just one photo for the day.

T and went for a photo walk this morning. It was COLD and I had to carry him and both our cameras for half the walk. I borrowed my husbands Canon SX30 which takes great photos but I did notice a lot of noise (one of the cons) that I couldn't get rid of in LR.

It is time for a new self portrait. This took about 10 tries with my 30D and my iPhone this morning. I would like to do one every month or so. If only I could get over my issues with myself. I'll work on it. In the mean time, I joined Big Picture Classes and signed up for Picture Inspiration with Tracey Clark for the next 52 weeks. I'm excited to be inspired!

This was made by my middle child, in middle school,I think. I keep it filled with big paper clips. I've set up a mini area on my desk at wok where I can photograph little things with my iPhone or Canon SD1100 when the mood strikes me.

My Nephew's 1960 Mercury Comet.
He stoped with by with his boyfriend and my daughter just to say hi. Right as they were leaving I decide to get some pictures of this cool old car, yet newer than the houses in our neighborhood. Wonderful to see them and so glad they came by.

This is how I captured it - purple. The sky was gorgeous!! I took several photos of the sky and the sun setting this evening and all were purple. A nice surprise as I didn't see this in my view finder or LCD.

The last half of my day got a little hairy. I let stuff get to me so not fixing dinner, stepping out to the local Chipotle with daughter and grandson was just the ticket. The beer helped a bit too. Nice attitude adjustment.

Had dinner at a friends this evening after watching the Superbowl. Lots of good food and great company. I cannot remember what this thing was called but it's like a mini oven that cooks super fast. I want one, just don't know where the heck I would put it.

My nephews 56. I saw the sun setting reflection but didn't really notice the tree until after I shot it. I took a lot off photos today with my 30D but this one - again with my iPhone and the Hipstamatic app - just got me.

It is the camera I always have with me and I love all the editing apps.

I 'snapped' a lot of found things today but wasn't feeling most of them. I tend to come back to the hipstamatic or distressed look.
Dinner was good as we were overdue for some vegis.
The steam from the food was making it hard to focus.

I missed a day, 1/11 of all days. I still had to make this because I love seeing what I have done all together. Some photos are good and I'm happy with them and some are just really bad. Time is a big thing. Just time to even think about what I want to shoot and then making the time to get it done. I'm going to keep doing this because it challenges me. And it is FUN!
