I like wine and I like interesting wine labels. I'm not a wine snob but I also don't choose my wine by the label. I will take a picture of a label I like. I may start a collection of wine label photos. I don't know where this bottle came from. It just appeared on my counter last weekend yet I didn't really take a look at it until this day. I like this simple and pretty label. I wanted to show the texture of the paper so I tried several different edits in various apps on my phone and then ended up using the Hipsatmatic shot.

118/365 - Stairway To Pain
These particular machines suck. Maybe some day I'll actually conquer them. I have a twice weekly workout date with my sister aka "Helga" (as in Helga's house of pain). She really is amazing at what she does. My personal Massage Therapist/Pilates Instructor/Trainer. She has helped me so much that I don't need to see my chiropractor as often or at all lately. She pushes me to move my butt and I look forward to and enjoy spending the time with her.

117/365 - Freeway sunset
On my way home from another visit to the Hospital. Grandma T is improving, thankfully, slowly. It's going to be a long road.
I realized, or maybe I just remembered, that I feel as if I'm missing something if I don't stop to enjoy the sunsets and/or take pictures of them. Clearly I would be missing these beautiful views if I didn't notice but it's as if I can't get enough of them. Ever.
I captured this with my iPhone from my car and boosted the saturation in Camera+

116/365 - Meet Fly
Took a ride out to our friends ranch to see their new goats this evening. Two that were born on Easter Eve. But the big hit was the puppies! So cute and fuzzy. This is Fly. She has a sister named Tip. You can see a photo of my daughter holding the two of them in my flickr stream.
115/365 - Yellow
More roses from next door. I could spend hours over there taking pictures. I think I need to try some different compositions. Mondays though are always hard to even get a photo done. Lately even more so.

114/365 - Easter Lady Bug hunting
113/364 - Happy Birthday cousins
112/365 - Playing with apps
111/365 - ...to my son <3
My 6'4" baby boy turned 19 April 21st. I knew he would grow to be tall but this tall still amazes all of us. We love him dearly, his sisters adore him and he is a good hearted person. I think we will keep him ;-)

110/365 - White rose (the flowers next door, part 2)
More flowers. The roses are blooming next door. I noticed these as I came home from work yesterday. I took several photos and posted four on Flickr. It is really hard for me to make up my mind which to post as my photo of the day but this one spoke to me. Simple. Simply white. Life is so chaotic and unpredictable right now that I need to find the calm where I can. I was feeling a little guilty about even taking pictures with all that is going on for our family at the moment. Like I should just...not? Then I remembered how cathartic photography is for me. Taking pictures, capturing found objects and beauty gets me out of the funk, releases me. I CAN keep going.

107/365 - Bay Bridge rivets
Crossing the Bay Bridge for the third time this past weekend. Not a good thing but it is the little things that are getting us through the days right now. I shot this with my iPhone, while we were in stop and go traffic. I was trying to get photos of the new, replacement, bridge being built right next to this. No editing.

106/365 - Red Crane!
Yep, a crane. I love cranes too. And bridges and buildings. Why I don't spend my spare time seeking them out, I don't know. Oh yeah, because I love the found art. Stumbing upon objects and beauty is exhilarating!
This was found in Redwood City. A city I would like to visit to check out the beautiful historical district. Preferrably on a day when I am not there with all of my husbands family because his mother is in the hospital. Please get well soon Grandma T.
105/365 - Olds!
I LOVE shooting classic cars. All the curves, lines, colors, CHROME! I don't need to capture the whole car as there is so much art in just a bumper or fender or steering wheel or.... So, my plan is to hit as many car shows as possible. Hopefully the one that usually happens a couple of blocks from my house gets going again this year and soon.

104/365 - Junk Yard
Okay, this is actually on the side yard of my house. I went to take out some recyclables and the rusty spool caught my eye. Thankfully most of the junk is on the side yard. I have two men living in my house that like to collect stuff. Really, they just don't like gettting rid of stuff. One has been collecting for fifty years. The other? Well I guess we could say "like father, like son"...he has been collecting for almost nineteen years.

103/365 - Cowboy on the move
This boy is a blur because he is either going, going, going or... asleep. He likes to put on our big shoes and walk around the house but will not stay still long enough for us to get a picture. These are his Uncle's cowboy boots, on the wrong feet. He was actually doing quite well getting around in them.

102/365 - Nostalgia
Found this at the pizza parlor tonight. Almost walked right past it. Now I need to find out how old it is.
101/365 - Evening stretch
I'm sure I've said this before, probably a million times...I want to be this cat in my next life. My Peaches is the coolest cat ever. She likes to hang out with me in the mornings and she keeps my bed warm for me all day.
100/365 - "Mr. Comet"
My Nephew's cool car. His boyfriend calls it Mr. Comet. Too cute. I need to get some more photos of this - why I didn't while it was sitting there, I don't know.
99/365 - Wisteria in the morning
Spent the weekend at one of my favorite places, Sweetwater. Did some much needed relaxing with friends I haven't seen in a while and some new ones.

98/365 - Dinner Out
We were on our way up to Sweetwater and it was dinner time. It's becoming a tradition to stop at In-n-Out on our way up or down.

97/365 - One Way
Rain was forcasted for for the whole day but went around us until about 6 pm. Then we were hit with hail and snow! Captured this tonight on my way to an appointment. I also took some photos with my point & shoot but this one with my iPhone turned out better.

96/365 - Reflection
The rain is coming back. The good thing is the clouds are fun to shoot. The rain? Not so much. We have had enough for the season.

95/365 - The flowers next door, part 1
This is just the beginning as my neighbor has a yard that is a bit overgrown but with little surprise splashes of color here and there. Today I saw wild flowers, right in the middle of all the weeds. Roses will be later and maybe vegetables again this year.

94/365 - Fun with lights & apps!
Shook my iPhone while shooting the lights on my dryer. I wasn't fond of the red and yellow lights so I desaturated in PS Express, added the Rainbow effect and cropped square. Then added a frame in Camera+ and uploaded to Flickr. Yes, great fun.
93/365 - Dew drop
Sunday morning in the back yard. Beautiful weather, sun, coffee, breakfast on the patio, photography...perfect.

92/365 - Shark!
Took my grandson to the local annual Mini Motorland. All kinds of fun stuff for kids to do where they could ride their bikes or batter powered cars/quads. I wanted to take a lot more pictures but I was also holding all the goodies they were giving him, his helmet, his jacket, his water, his quad....
91/365 - Oak Tree
I'm guessing a California Oak, being that we live in California. I love Oak Trees, they are just so amazing. Took this last night while at a wine tasting fundraiser for my grandson's pre school.
March 2011 Mosaic
Love these mosaics. Have I said that before? They are just fun to make and have my 365 project all together in monthly groups. Planning on having twelve of them this year.
