I’m not sure why, but I really like this photo. The light? The lines? My comforter looking all cozy? The floor?
As I was standing by my bed with my iPhone in my hand, somehow having opened up the camera app (I do stuff like this all the time), I see the light from the bathroom illuminating the wood floor in my bedroom on the screen. Look at the beautiful grain. I love how it looks so much better on my phone than it actually does in real life. It has had 55 years of being walked on, carpeted over, carpet removed, furniture moved over, updating of the bathroom (twice), painting and who knows what else. I guess it really doesn’t look that bad considering.
